Collinetta Vineyard Coombsville AVA

Encompassing a rounded hilltop at the gateway to the Coombsville sub-appellation, the eleven-acre Collinetta Vineyard greets people with its sweeping curves and iconic stone chimney relic, standing solo on the hillside since the 1950’s. Once home to walnut trees and horse pasture, the vineyard was planted in 2000 by the Grigsby-Rocca family. Overlooking the entire Coombsville area to the south and west, the vineyard’s hillside slope offers excellent drainage and perfect orientation for afternoon sun exposure following Coombsville’s cool and foggy mornings.

Farmed certified organic by our talented vineyard team since its original planting, Collinetta produces Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc that express the unique soil and climate that makes Coombsville such a desirable grape growing location. The fruit is dark and intense, with robust flavors thanks to the long and even-ripening process in this special corner of Napa Valley.
