We are very excited to release our 2006 Rocca Cabernet Sauvignon and 2006 Rocca Syrah. Following a tradition that has been set by our first 7 releases, these two delicious wines are from our Grigsby estate vineyard located in Napa Valley ’s Yountville appellation.

2006 Rocca Cabernet Sauvignon
This complex and elegant estate Cabernet Sauvignon displays
elegant red fruits, a touch of vanilla on the aromas, and a fresh, lively,
fruit-focused entry. Full-bodied and balanced, with a creamy texture,
it unwinds slowly revealing its layers of flavor.

2006 Rocca Syrah
Amazingly complex, the aromas on this Syrah range from earth notes to rich game, roasted meats with a hint of black pepper, sweet red cherries and a touch of spice plums. The entry is smooth and very flavorful and the mid-palate richness tells the story of the vintage: completely ripe and luscious fruit creating layers of complexity.

By now you know that we farm Rocca Family Vineyards with the highest quality considerations. Our Grigsby Vineyard, home to both our Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, is no exception. Planted in 1989, the vines are reaching full maturity and continue to develop exponentially with each vintage under the meticulous care of vineyard manager, Sergio Melgoza.
